Here is a link to a great guy who like many of us loves to play guitar. We can all learn from his story!
'Merry Merry so contrary' but to hell with correctness - enjoy Xmas or whatever you call it and may you all have a brilliant New Year.

Autocondo not kidnapped by Aliens - yet!!

It may appear as if we had been due to our tardy updating of our blog but please forgive us.
Russ has been busy with his studio and Tony has been busy making guitars for the Montreal Guitar Show which just took place days ago and was a huge success - guitar pics attached.
Neil is always busy, especially through the summer both with shows and his kids.
DO NOT PANIC - We will be back in action before too long and will post whatever plans we come up with that help us in our plans for world domination, or at least a radius of three blocks from our homes. Have a wonderful summer and we will be back in your face before too long!!!!

Guitar Making Post

Tony Duggan-Smith * Mark Kett * Pat Metheny * Linda Manzer * Joe Yanuziello

Taken in New York at the release of the limited Manzer/Metheny guitar series on which we all worked in various capacities. Linda Manzer- almost everything! Pat Metheny - R&D and inlay designs, Mark Kett - all the fabulous inlaywork, Joe Yanuziello - the superb finishing on all the guitars and me (Tony) - planing, fretting and set ups (not sit ups). Paul Simon was one of the first customers to buy one and the event was very well received with wonderful musicians attending. Congrats Linda!!!!
Also had the chance to spend some quality time with good friend, Carol Kaye of Kayos productions talking about Autocondo, life and everything in between. She is a class act and anyone serious about promoting their careers in the USA should consider her services if she has time.

Spring!

March 21st and the band will begin rehearsing next week for some yet to be arranged spring shows.  It's been great to get so much airplay on the campus stations not to mention great support from CBC radio.  I've recently finished working on season 2 of 'Da Kink in My Hair' which airs Thursday night on Global.  The show is a lot of fun and has some great Canadian Music.
